Maven Robotics has just emerged from stealth with $100 million in funding and active robot deployments.
The company builds wheeled robots with two arms capable of lifting up to 30 kilos, specializing in mixed palletization — rearranging goods from different factories into mixed loads for retail stores. Founder Hamza Derbas, previously at Apple and electric vehicle development, won his first major contract in 2024 by focusing on actual logistics workflows instead of single-robot solutions. Today Maven runs up to eight robots 16 hours a day with 99 percent or higher uptime, and plans to build 250 third-generation robots.
